Hilo Hongwanji Gakuen (Japanese Language School) offers an enriching after-school Japanese language program for children aged 6-18.  Our students will develop proficiency in four essential language skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening, as well as comprehension and conversation.  Beyond language training, they will also immerse themselves in Japanese culture and learn Buddhist traditions.

Report cards will be distributed at the end of each semester to track progress.  Students who complete six years of study or achieve a 6th-grade skill level are eligible for graduation.  Upon graduation, they will be awarded a diploma, marking their significant accomplishment.  We look forward to welcoming you to Gakuen!

ヒロ本願寺学園（日本語学校）は、6歳から18歳までの子どもたちを対象に、アフタースクールの日本語教育プログラムを提供しています。 生徒は授業を通して、読む、書く、話す、聞くという4つの基本的な言語能力に加えて、理解力と会話力も身につけていきます。また日本語学習に加えて、日本文化を学んだり、仏教の伝統に触れる機会もあります。

各学期末に成績表を配布し、学習の進捗状況を確認します。 6年間の学習を修了するか、小学6年生のレベルに達した生徒には卒業資格が与えられ、卒業式では卒業証書が授与されます。みなさんの入学をお待ちしています。
