I just had my first experience with Bon dance at the Okinawan Festival on Oahu. I was so moved by the beauty of the dance and people from so many different cultures that jumped in and went with the flow.
I hope to live on the big island soon and learn how to perform the dances.

Aloha from Las Vegas. I was born & raised in Hilo and attended church there with my family. I have been living in Las Vegas for 10 years and have yet to find a Buddhist temple like those in Hawaii. Would you have any suggestions? PS - Very nice site!!
