Holiday Potpourri 2017

A Boo-tiful Night of Activities and Fun

On October 27th, around 350 people came to the annual Holiday Potpourri sponsored by the Board of Buddhist Education. The Sangha Hall was filled with laughter and excitement as many       affiliate members, families, and friends participated in a wide variety of crafts and activities to celebrate the upcoming holidays. Thank you to all those who participated and brought donations for the Food Basket! Thanks to your donations, we were able to help reach our Food Basket donation goal! A special thank you goes to the many affiliates and individuals (Dharma School, Gakuen, HBYC, Hoyukai, Jr. YBA, Preschool, Super Stars 4-H club, BJ Soriano, Cyrus Wilson, Gayle Kamei and her amazing photo tag crew, and Richard  Okano and his super origami folding group) who hosted such fun activities for everyone. Also thank you to the Sr. YBA, Rev. Siebuhr, John Pascual, Casey Nakatsu, Zoi Nakamura, Karen   Akiyama-Paik, BOBE members, and anyone else who contributed and participated in making this event a success. We couldn’t have done it without you! Hope to see you all again next year!

Did you know that the radio Dharma ads have been on the radio for nearly 6 years now!  Wonderfully positive messages have been going across the airwaves thanks to  members of our Sangha.  If you care to make a donation, please visit the temple office.
